- Hypertension monitoring and medication review

Long-term condition reviews
Reviews are annual unless the condition needs closer monitoring. You will be invited by text or letter. Bring your medicines and readings with you — home blood pressure readings are more useful than one taken in the surgery.
Mental health
GPs here assess and start treatment for common mental health problems and refer to the Lambeth talking therapies service. Ask for a longer appointment if you want to discuss more than one issue.
Urgent mental health help
Call 111 and select the mental health option, or the Lambeth crisis line on 0800 090 2456. In an emergency, call 999.
Maternity and postnatal
Antenatal care is shared with the community midwives at St Thomas'. Book directly with the midwifery team — reception will give you the number. We do the postnatal check at six to eight weeks.
Services we do not provide
- Dental care — register with an NHS dentist
- Ear syringing, unless referred by a clinician after examination
- Private sick notes for the self-employed beyond the standard letter
- Medicals for insurance, HGV, sports or pre-employment — see non-NHS fees
Hospital care
Referrals are made through the NHS e-Referral Service. You choose the hospital and appointment where a choice exists. Chasing a referral is reception's job, not yours — ask and we will tell you where it has got to.
